TOURIST COURSES
They are intended for the tourists who want to gain skills needed to pass the dangerous sections in the mountain relief and are carried out according to a special programme, that includes:
- Theory - introduction to tourism; dangers in the mountains during the summer; extreme sitiations in the summer walking-tours; safety in the mountains;
- Practice - kinds of alpine knots and application modes; walking technics in summer; kinds of supporting points and using them; kinds of grips; technics and ways of insurance; going up and down the steep slope; climbing up and going down rocks with easy, middle and hard difficulties; horizontal and vertical railing; "Diulfer" rappels, with carbineer, with eight; getting over the sides, cornices, fireplaces, interior angles, slates, anti-slopes, bends; first-aid assistance to an injured person; transporting a victim by makeshifts;
The courses will be carried out in the Rila Mountains on this route: Pionerska and Rilski lakes mountain hut (2 nights) - Maliovitsa mountain hut (4 nights) -Kirilova poliana (1 night) - Rila Monastery, as follows:
- from June 18 to June 24 from July 30
- from July 30 to August 05
- from August 26 to September 01
- from September 01 to Oktober 04
- from October 08 to October
The partisipans will be met at the Sofia international airport at 16 p.m. on the following dates: July 17, July 29, August 25, September 17 and October 07 ,2003.
End of courses and departure for Sofia is on the following dates: June 29, August 06, September 02, October 05 and October 15, 2003.
Price of the course: 215$ includes: travel expenses,accomandation, meals, instruction, and health insurance.
